Yearbook Ads

The yearbook staff will be taking orders for Senior Ads beginning today and ending December 4th. For those of you who may not know, Sr. Ads are (usually) congratulatory messages from parents to their senior children. The most popular style contains both photos and written messages.

Parents may design their ad or give the annual staff a rough idea and trust our design team to lay out the ad for them. This year’s annual is going to be all color, so that may affect which photos you’d like to use. (The staff will be able to do some editing – removing creases/wrinkles and stains in old photos, and adjusting tint and contrast.)

This year’s prices reflect a price drop from previous years.

A double page ad (a full two page spread) $300

A full page ad - $175

Half page ad - $110

Quarter page - $60

You should also know that in order to reduce the final cost of the book, we have downsized this year’s annual to the popular notebook size album. (7 3/4” x 10”)

We expect the final price to be about $55, a reduction of $15 over last year’s larger sized book. We will have the same number of pages, and of course, the big news is it will be full color from cover to cover.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact Mr. Groom by phone or email.

Team Tee-Shirts

A big thanks and shout out to the moms who came to the school last Thursday to help distribute Senior Class of 2010 tee-shirts, Burro beads and candy.  I know it's hard to find time in our overscheduled busy days, but I know the students really appreciated it.  It's such an exciting time for them, and a blessing to be able to be part of that.

I am so grateful for the immediate response to my call for help and loved getting to put faces with email names...and mamas with students!

The next opportunity to celebrate your child's final year at Hillsboro will be on Monday, January 10th, for Senior Breakfast. I will be sending out reminders and specific requests closer to the date.

Thank you again, and I hope you all enjoy a safe fall break.
