Our first annual Band Banquet was held at the end of May.  It was very well attended.  If you were there, you know what a great time it was.  If you were not there, well, we missed you!

 Here is a recap of what happened – besides the food and fun…….

 Ms. Davis has re-instituted the policy of awarding letters for Band.  Letters were issued to numerous band members.  Service bars were also awarded.  I apologize for not writing down all the names, so I will not mention any here.  Letterman jackets will be coordinated with the Athletic Boosters at a later date.  More on that in the future…..

Congratulations to our new 2008-2009 Band Leadership!  Specific responsibilities of each office will be detailed in the soon to be issued updated Band Handbook.

The Marching show was also announced.   Several shows were presented to the band members for consideration.  Ms. Davis allowed the band members to vote on the show that they wanted to perform during class prior to the banquet.  The show selected was “Santana”.  The show music can be heard at www.jwpepper.com.  Simply click on marching band, complete shows, and follow the links to Santana.
