I’ve finally finished the scholarship report and a huge amount of thanks goes to Susanne Frensley for her extremely valuable help in getting the whole thing started.  Here are our final numbers:

There will be three numbers here.  The first is the amount of scholarship money offered but declined.  This includes students who qualify for the HOPE Lottery scholarship but are attending a college out of state, students offered scholarships from multiple institutions, and other similar situations.  The second is scholarships accepted, which includes all students who earned a final GPA of 3.0 and who will be attending a Tennessee college/university which means they are all HOPE scholarship eligible.  The final number will be the total amount of scholarship dollars offered.

Scholarship money offered but declined:  $1,714,304

Scholarship money offered and accepted:  $2,838,656

Total scholarship money offered:  $4,552,960
