Summer school registration forms are now available in the Guidance Office. High school summer school is reserved for students who have previously taken a class, failed it, and need to repeat it. If a student is participating in the IB Diploma program, the AVID program, or pursuing the scholars diploma there are a few classes available to those students to take for the first time in summer school. The forms must be completely filled out, taken to the counselor for his/her signature, and then the parent, guardian, or student must take the registration form and appropriate registration fee to the Board of Education on Bransford to complete the registration process. The cost for summer school is $50 per class per semester, a total of $100 if a student takes one first semester class and one second semester class. Fees must be paid in cash, cashier’s check, or money order, personal checks will NOT be accepted for any reason. Students on free or reduced lunch do not have to pay for summer school but must obtain a print-out from the counselor showing their free or reduced lunch status.
