MTSU Military Science Department nomination for Army ROTC scholarship- Student must be of good moral character, have a 3.0 GPA or higher or have a 24 ACT composite, participated in a varsity level sport or is a member of a regional competitive league or has been active in individual competition, an elected member of a student organization or served in a position of responsibility, and agree to accept a commission in the US Army, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard. Adventure Science Center Volunteering Scholarship- Applicant must have given 100 or more volunteer hours at Adventure Science Center, minimum 2.75 GPA, and attending an accredited post-secondary institution. Application must be received by the scholarship committee by April 30.
AEMP Foundation Scholarship- Available to students interested in working in the heavy equipment industry (construction, auto, truck, and diesel engine technician). Must have a minimum 2.0 GPA. Application must be received by May 1.
Tau Kappa Epsilon, The Appointed Man Scholarship, Tennessee Tech- Applicant must be planning to attend Tennessee Tech and have performed well academically or athletically in high school. Application must be received by the scholarship committee by May 1.
Sigma Phi Epsilon Balanced Man Scholarship- available to male students planning to attend Murray State University (KY) who have an ACT composite of 20 or higher. Application must be received by the scholarship committee by May 1.
Elizabeth Buford Shepherd Scholarship Foundation- available to students in the top 10% of the graduating class who have been involved in extra-curricular activities and financial need. Applications must be received by the scholarship committee by May 1.
Pfizer Epilepsy Scholarship- Available to students who are under a doctor’s care for epilepsy, a good student who participates in activities outside of school, and is planning to attend college in the fall. Applications must be postmarked by May 1.
Student of Integrity Scholarship Award from the Better Business Bureau- applicants will be judged on the areas of leadership, application essay, community service, and academic record. Application must be postmarked by May 18.
